eRobertParker – April 2012

Château de Pressac 2011 : The 2011 is one of the better examples I have seen from this large St-Emilion estate. Composed of 70 % Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignn, it exhibits a deep plum/purple color along with sweet blueberry and black raspberry fruit intermixed with cedar, toasty oak and damp earth. With medium body, good purity, decent acidity, ripe tannin and a heady finish, it should drink well for 10-12 years.
