Pretty red currants, red cherries, mineral, cream and a touch of white pepper to the nose. A simpler and more linear expression here with firm, chalky tannins and a subtle, refined finish. A little light at the end. One for early drinking. Enjoy now through to 2028.

C’est un flacon fidèle au style de la propriété. Son nez est assez complexe, il offre une belle entrée en matière, confirmée par une belle texture en bouche, avec des tanins serrés et affinés. On peut le déguster aujourd’hui avec des lactaires délicieux gratinés.

Best Germany Wine Critic of the World Pressac 2022 primeur : 92 (avril 2023) Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Aromatic nose with ripe fruit, black cherries, blackberries and hints of red berries, subtle oak and mild spices. On the palate well balanced with ripe tannins, good mid-palate and length, with spicy finish.

En humant le bouquet de la Tour de Pressac, deux fenêtre de réflexion s’entrouvrent : premièrement on se dit que le vin doit être délicieux et, deuxièmement, on peut supposer qu’au vu du niveau du second vin, la barre est placée haut ! Le palais confirme l’annonce du bouquet. Il dispose d’une agréable sucrosité, dès l’attaque, et également d’une bonne ampleur. Les tannins doivent être un peu mieux enveloppés en fin de bouche, mais deux faits sont déjà acquis : le vin est gourmand et i pourra être apprécié dans sa jeunesse.

Up and coming. This has pleasing graphite and pencil-shaving notes alongside the dark berry and stone fruit; quite saline in its minerality. A hint of the cedar to come and a lovely wild heathery note. Fresh and softly textured, but with a fully charged, compact and energetic core of crushed ripe berry fruit – a little cherry skin and its tannins around the edges. Impressive. Long and always fresh and sapid, with good intensity. Continuing the upward trajectory here.

Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Delicately spicy background, dark wild berries, hints of plums, some cassis and herbal savouriness. Juicy, round and elegant, fine acidity, ripe cherries. Balanced, already accessi- ble, salty finish; an animating wine for the table.

Sehr rein, top Frucht, viele Brombeeren, süße Frucht, sehr feines Tannin, erfreulich lang im Abgang. Hohe Qualität! Wird früh Spass machen. (Verkostet « En Primeur » im April 2023 / Grand Cercle / Château la Dauphine) primeurs22.

Juicy and alive, a really lovely purity of flavour on the palate, there is an ease and approachability to this. It hasn’t been overworked or pushed too far, yet gives a round, plump and forward palate with bright raspberry, strawberry and damson fruits, and lots of freshnes : Just a joyful glass of wine. Sows the pretty side of St-Émilion. What’s not to like?!
