Couleur sombre et pourpre. Nez très aromatique, fruité et profond. Belle odeur de fruits noirs parfaitement mêlée à un joli boisé nuancé. Minutieux en entrée de bouche, particulièrement aromatique au milieu, précis dans sa réalisation, avec un corps juteux, le vin glisse jusqu’en finale. Les dernières secondes de la dégustation l’élève encore. Tannin raffiné. C’est très bon.

Juicy and lively with lots of liquorice and dark chocolate flavours lacing the blackcurrant, raspberry, blueberry and plum fruit. Feels well worked with balanced acidity and a super sleek texture and I love the limestone touches – the salinity and minerality. Tannins are fine and well integrated. There’s a classicism to this despite being a big wine – clearly well structured – but this has lovely pure acidity, clean fruit profile and long length. Feels supremely well made – one I definitely wanted another glass of! Understated charm and a great value pick here.

This is a 100% “Terroir Wine”, and you must not rush to taste it, for if you are fooled by its reserved aromas, you may miss this delicious wine. Château de Pressac 2020 has an outstanding balance, and it leaves the reservedness and elegance of limestone terroir after caressing the taste buds. The palate is refreshing, sweet, and bright, touching your heart with juicy waxberry and raspberry and never lacking layers from entry to finish. I strongly recommend the 2020 vintage of Château de Pressac to my fellow wine lovers.

The 2020 Château De Pressac showed beautifully, with terrific purity in its spicy dark fruits, spice, chocolate, and earthy nuances. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe tannins, it’s another balanced, layered, incredibly impressive Saint-Emilion that does everything right. It’s going to benefit from short-term cellaring and keep for two decades, if not longer. The blend is 79% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Carmenère and Malbec.

Georgie Hindle: Gorgeous red berry fruit with a bite, and slight strictness to the tannins. Not yet ready to drink, but sleek and stylish. Concentrated and muscular, excellent pure acidity, and salty minerality, too. Vincenzo Arnese: Good structure, vibrant with good intensity and ripeness. Tannins are integrated and oak is well blended. Good finish. Arthur Coggil : Spicy, aromatic, inviting nose, touches of clove and wild bilberry. Juicy, succulent, full-on redcurrant and damson. Grippy but delicate tannins dominate for now, so leave a few years.

Il a été fait des choix très pertinents à Pressac en 2020, mais ce n’est pas nouveau en fait ! Ainsi, le vin se distingue par sa précision et son exactitude. Ses tannins, quelque peu suaves, sont veloutés et en phase avec la structure acide que le terroir de Saint-Etienne de Lisse confère, indépendamment du millésime ! Un vin frais et salivant ! Que d’harmonie, de tempérament et d’avenir… si l’on parvient à lui résister, car on risque de le boire avant ! 2025-2045

“The 2020 de Pressac is a wine of real charm and seduction. Bright floral and citrus notes drive a core of sweet red cherry fruit. Chalk, mint, white pepper, smoke and dried herbs lend notable aromatic complexity. As always, the blend includes Cabernet Franc plus drops of Malbec and Carménère, which lends quite a bit of nuance. The 2020 is an especially elegant Pressac. In my view, Pressac remains one of the most criminally underrated wines in all of Saint-Emilion. On the other hand, that makes it a screaming value. »

La restructuration du vignoble paie. Pressac a encore gagné en ampleur Il est construit sur l’énergie du millésime. Le tanin se resserre en bouche, donnant plus de vigueur à l’ensemble. Les argiles lui confèrent de la finesse, ce qui le rend moins démonstratif qu’auparavant.

Smoky, with a leafy, tobacco edge to the elegant, refined, fresh, cherries and plums. Medium-bodied, soft and silky, there is a nice sweetness to the fruits on the palate and in the finish, with its touch of chocolate-mint in the endnote. Not much wine was made as the yields were under 15 hectoliters per hectare. Drink from 2023-2035.

Dark garnet, narrow purple rim. Delicate nougat, dark berry fruit, a hint of plums and blackberries, hints of liquorice and tangerine zest. Medium-bodied, elegant, red cherries, ripe, fine tannins, pleasant minerality, balance and length; certainly has ageing potential.

La richesse d’un millésime se voit bien canalisée par une expression fraîche du fruit. Enveloppant l’attaque, il prend un bel élan en cœur de bouche jusqu’à une finale dynamique. Vinous (Neal Martin) (mai 2003) : 91-93 : The 2022 Château de Pressac has a vivacious and engaging bouquet, more floral than its peers but with better delineation and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, a keen line of acidity and a sapidity on the finish that urges another sip.

Avec cinq cépages au compteur, Pressac se signale encore par son encépagement singulier. La complexité aromatique se vêtit d’un boisé un peu marqué. La bouche est serrée mais droite, arquée par une certaine raideur à ce stade, mais avec un joli potentiel de garde dans le cadre du millésime.

Pressac 2021 is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé with elegance and power. Its mellow and jucy taste is very attracive. Siytting in the smooth and clear body is the mild freshnes. Focusing on the tongue, I can feel that every corner of my moth is coated with the calky refined structure. Accompanied by the slightly by the sour and sweet flavors of dried plum at the end, the attractive fragrances fill my palate.

Délicat en entrée de bouche, très fruité au milieu, juteux, le vin évolue sur un corps élancé et un toucher caressant, avec beaucoup de goût. Bonne longueur à la tannicité parfaitement enveloppée. Ce millésime signe les ambitions qualitatives du cru. Il maintient la hausse de son statut. Assemblage : 65 % merlot, 35 % cabernet franc et cabernet sauvignon. Degré d’alcool : 13°5.
