Fait rare dans une dégustation de primeurs, voici un vin qu’on a envie de boire tout de suite, tant le fruit ressort avec éclat et les tanins semblent déjà bien en place. Si l’élevage ne le durcit pas, il pourrait s’avérer une valeur sûre à déboucher pour toutes les occasions, rapidement ou dans longtemps.

« 77 % Merlot, 9 % Cabernet-Franc, 11 % Cabernet-Sauvignon, 1 % Malbec (Noir de Pressac), 2 % Carmenère, 40 hl/ha. Dichtes Purpur mit rubinroten Reflexen. Berauschendes Bouquet mit reifen Brombeeren und frischem Kirschsaft, dahinter Schokopralinen, Veilchen und Lakritze. Am eleganten Gaumen mit einer Textur wie Samt und Seide gepaart mit einer energiegeladenen Rasse, die dem Wein eini faszinierende Spannung gibt. « Fresh, juicy, soft and polished, the wine is medium-bodied, supple and elegantly styled. The plums are fresh and the sweet cherries are even fresher. The licorice and espresso accents add to the fun. The finish, with its freshness and dark chocolate covered, lifted red fruits resonates. »

« From an estate located on the côtes, on the eastern plateau, this has a very dark, concentrated, mulberry-black hue. A smoky nose, the fruit here dark and pointed, very true to the eastern plateau style, combining ripeness and freshness. Le nez est intense fin et racé, il exhale des parfums de baies noires juteuses (la mûre, le cassis et la myrtille) à des parfums de réglisse; viennent ensuite d’élégantes notes d’élevage sur le chocolat rehaussées de touches grillées, toastées et torréfiées. « This estate is located on the cooler side of St-Emilion, heading towards Castillon. It’s been classified since 2012 and makes consistently excellent wines that have seductive fruits along with good freshness. It displays lovely dark fruits here, well extracted and with plenty of colour. It’s firm and will certainly age, being a bit sneaky in drip-feeding the tannins until there they are, stacked up.
