Black core with purple rim. Really fragrant and open, seems to show the 20% stems as much in the aroma as on the palate. Lovely freshness and refinement, especially in the finest of tannins. Elegant already. Cool and fresh but with more to come.

Ma meilleure note donnée à ce cru en Primeur – Outsider Couleur sombre, intense et pourpre. Nez très aromatique, fin, fruité, pur, à la fois mûr et frais. Ample dès l’entrée en bouche, fondant au milieu, très aromatique, juteux, sans cesse accompagné par un gras fin, la construction est remarquable.
Le vin laisse parler la suavité de son terroir, tout en rebondissant sur des saveurs complexes, fines, parfumées et nobles. C’est génial. Très grande persistance sans angle.

This is a 100% “Terroir Wine”, and you must not rush to taste it, for if you are fooled by its reserved aromas, you may miss this delicious wine. Château de Pressac 2020 has an outstanding balance, and it leaves the reservedness and elegance of limestone terroir after caressing the taste buds. The palate is refreshing, sweet, and bright, touching your heart with juicy waxberry and raspberry and never lacking layers from entry to finish. I strongly recommend the 2020 vintage of Château de Pressac to my fellow wine lovers.
Decanter – Mars 2023 – 93pts
Juicy and lively with lots of liquorice and dark chocolate flavours lacing the blackcurrant, raspberry, blueberry and plum fruit. Feels well worked with balanced acidity and a super sleek texture and I love the limestone touches – the salinity and minerality. Tannins are fine and well integrated. There’s a classicism to this despite being a big wine – clearly well structured – but this has lovely pure acidity, clean fruit profile and long length. Feels supremely well made – one I definitely wanted another glass of! Understated charm and a great value pick here.

Couleur sombre et pourpre. Nez très aromatique, fruité et profond. Belle odeur de fruits noirs parfaitement mêlée à un joli boisé nuancé. Minutieux en entrée de bouche, particulièrement aromatique au milieu, précis dans sa réalisation, avec un corps juteux, le vin glisse jusqu’en finale. Les dernières secondes de la dégustation l’élève encore. Tannin raffiné. C’est très bon.
