Georgie Hindle: Gorgeous red berry fruit with a bite, and slight strictness to the tannins. Not yet ready to drink, but sleek and stylish. Concentrated and muscular, excellent pure acidity, and salty minerality, too. Vincenzo Arnese: Good structure, vibrant with good intensity and ripeness. Tannins are integrated and oak is well blended. Good finish. Arthur Coggil : Spicy, aromatic, inviting nose, touches of clove and wild bilberry. Juicy, succulent, full-on redcurrant and damson. Grippy but delicate tannins dominate for now, so leave a few years.

On appréciera son nez complexe de fruits noirs et rouges, sa matière richement fruitée, avec une touche épicée et beaucoup de fraicheur, ses tannin soyeux et enfin son boisé bien intégré. Un joli classique, équilibré et de bonne longueur. »

La richesse d’un millésime se voit bien canalisée par une expression fraîche du fruit. Enveloppant l’attaque, il prend un bel élan en cœur de bouche jusqu’à une finale dynamique. Vinous (Neal Martin) (mai 2003) : 91-93 : The 2022 Château de Pressac has a vivacious and engaging bouquet, more floral than its peers but with better delineation and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, a keen line of acidity and a sapidity on the finish that urges another sip.

Tom Mullen – Mai 2024 – 95-96 pts
A blend of Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Cabernet Sauvignon/Carménère/Malbec/Petit Verdot from rom Jean-François and Dominique Quenin comes this wine aged 18 months in new and used oak barrels and clay amphorae. Spry aromas—think tangerine tajine, orange slices pulled from sangria, strawberries and shortbread. A linear attack followed by a three course mid palate including yams, cassis, chocolate and red cherries on the finish. Bright acidity that tingles the tongue and an unobtrusive set of tannins. Pair with mirepoix and cous cous, or a mushroom casserole. More integrated than the 2019 vintage and as complex and delightful as from the 2018 vintage.

und sehr eigenem Charakter wie immer, superfrisch und finessenreich, komplex, sehr aromatisch und offen. Drahtige, sehr weit gefasste und feinkörnig Struktur, sehr konzentriert und dicht im Mund, kompakt und kraftvoll. Ausgezeichnete Rasse und Frische, sehr lang und finessenreich, mit likörigem Nachhall und hoher
Intensität. Großer St.-Emilion mit enormer, fleischiger Durchdringung. Satt und süß, mit exotischer Würze, sehr kompakt, mit langer Gerbstoffpräsenz.
